What do you need to know about the 2020 census?

National census data is available for the 2020 Census to be collected from the following areas: England and Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Northern Territory, Queensland, Tasmania, Western Australia and the Northern Territory.

The data can be downloaded at: http://www.nationaldata.gov.au/data-releases/the-national-counties-county-and-district-2016-census-andreas-youth-project-results-project/australia-countys-nationals-nationaldata-2016.html The data is published on the Census website for each census region and for each Census region is available online.

The 2019 Census data is currently being updated for the region.

The data can also be downloaded from: The National Population and Housing Survey, ABS, Census Data Centre, Canberra, ACT, 201-851-0070, australia.govt.au,data-centre-censuses-national.

Data can also also be accessed from the Australian Bureau of Statistics’ Australian Census Bureau Data Hub.

Data for the 2021 Census will be released in October 2021.

Where to download data: The data for the 2019 Census will not be available until it is collected.

The 2018 Census data will be available in mid-September 2021.

The 2019 Census results can be accessed on the ABS website.
